Interested in hauntings, sci-fi, horror, legends, or UFOs? Creepy Conference has opened submissions for the event set to take place on October 24.
Creepy Conference has served as a great way to get the campus community together and enjoy a night of creepiness. A wide variety of stories take place, ranging from hauntings to monsters, strange syndromes, and serial killers.
As of September 1st, RMU students, faculty, and staff are all able to submit a one-page proposal on their topic of choice by September 29.
“All creative ideas are welcomed so long as they fall onto “creepy topics” like “horror, UFOS, perceptual disturbances, killer clowns, vampires, serial killers, plane crashes, folkloric monsters, conspiracies, haunted locations, strange syndromes, etc.,” RMU’s Department of Arts & Humanities posted Friday. “All applicants will be notified and those accepted will have till October 24 to put together their 10-minute presentation on the proposed topic.”
The event is popular among students and is a great way to end October, just in time for Halloween.
For those interested in presenting, email Dr. Pamboukian with your ideas.
