Robert Morris University’s (RMU) Colonial Theatre is set to enchant audiences this Valentine’s Day weekend with the romantic comedy musical, “I Love You Because.”
“I Love You Because” offers a modern twist on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, transporting the classic tale to contemporary New York City. The story follows a young, uptight greeting card writer whose life takes an unexpected turn upon meeting a free-spirited photographer. Along with their quirky friends and siblings, they embark on a journey to discover love, embracing each other’s imperfections along the way. This humorous and heartfelt musical is an ideal choice for a Valentine’s date night.
Performances are scheduled from Wednesday, Feb. 12, through Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. each evening at Massey Hall on RMU’s Moon Township campus.
