With September coming to a close, here’s what is happening on campus this week.
September 26th: Join the Office of Residence Life at the Ross lounge for a VR event that tests your fear of heights. The event will take place from 8-9 p.m. and there will be pizza!
September 28th: Join Dr. Nicolas Bogs as he talks about the relationship between Germany and the United States and details what he has seen from his time in both countries. He will take a deep dive into the corporate and academic worlds of both countries. Dr. Nicolas Bogs Rooney Lecture will take place in-person and online from 3:30 till 5 p.m. This event also offers SET credit.
September 28th: Head to Massey Hall for a movie night double feature as the Massey Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Rockwell Fellows program show “Pursuit of Happiness” and “The Founder.” The movies will run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
September 29th: Head to the UPMC Events Center for free food and the Hackathon. The Massey Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, FYSP, Colonial Cupboard, and the Center for Student Success are holding the Hackathon for the sixth straight year. The Hackathon is a team-based contest where each team is posed with coming up with a solution to the question “How might we innovate solutions that increase students’ access to food and mitigate the negative impact of food insecurity?” To sign up to be in the audience, fill out the form provided on the event’s Revolution page.
