NFL Picks, Week 6
I shall start this off with a solution to those of you in the Pittsburgh, New York, and Jacksonville areas: find yourselves another hobby for Sundays, and, in the case of PIT and NYG, locate the hashtag I attempted to start (#TankforClowney), because at the rate your seasons are going, it is better for you to just pile up the losses for a Top-2 pick rather than attempt to win, end up with a still horrible pick, but have that pick be just high enough that the best prospects are off the board on draft day. For Jacksonville fans, substitute Teddy Bridgewater for Jadeveon Clowney. (Minnesota & Oakland fans, be on call. You may be here by next week.)
Anyways, I went 8-6 last week, again a middle-of-the-pack finish among the experts, pushing my record to 45-32. That drops me another spot lower in the standings. I’ll just choose to pass my blame off on the normally consistent teams (Pittsburgh & New York) and normally poor teams (Cleveland, Kansas City) playing role reversal with each other. Therefore, if you see several picks here that don’t seem to make sense, don’t knock it until after the game in question has ended.
Chicago over New York Giants
Cincinnati over Buffalo
Detroit over Cleveland
Kansas City over Oakland
Minnesota over Carolina
New York Jets over Pittsburgh
Philadelphia over Tampa Bay
Baltimore over Green Bay
Houston over St. Louis
Denver over Jacksonville
Seattle over Tennessee
New Orleans over New England
San Francisco over Arizona
Dallas over Washington
Indianapolis over San Diego
Again, I wish you all the best, and enjoy Sunday with family, friends, and loved ones!
God Bless!
