Lil Tjay kicked off his Beat The Odds Tour in Moon Township, PA at the UPMC Events Center. The night started off with the show’s openers, a trio of rappers. Fivio Foreign who is from Brooklyn, New York, as well as Dej Loaf and Skilla Baby, who both hail from Detroit, Michigan, made an appearance in the opening show.
They all started the show by telling us a little bit of their back story. The rappers all originated from small towns and were told that they would never make it in life. Now, they are all opening for Lil Tjay’s concert. This really stuck out to me because it shows that it is very important to always follow your dreams in life, and nothing is impossible if you want to accomplish your ultimate goal.
Lil Tjay performed songs he wrote, but also songs he has featured in as well. He has done a collab with artists such as Polo G and Pop Smoke. He performed popular songs such as “Headshot,” “Mood Swings,” and “Calling My Phone.” The crowd was on their feet excited to see him kick off his tour in Pittsburgh. He has a total of 27 shows left on his tour.
