The “Oklahoma Smokeshow” singer announced his 2024 tour, “The Quittin’ Time Tour”, with a stop in Pittsburgh.
Bryan will be performing only one night at PPG Paints Arena on March 9, 2024. He will be joined by special guests, The Middle East and Levi Turner.
The news comes days after the country singer released his recent self-titled album, his fourth overall, on August 25th.
“I didn’t make this album to appease people who will never be happy anyway, I made it for my people,” he said when announcing the track list of the album on Instagram.
Bryan recently ended his last tour, “The Burn, Burn, Burn Tour”, on August 30th in Kansas City, Missouri. The tour was unexpected because he had just toured with his last album, “American Heartbreak”.
He wanted to do another tour immediately after seeing the unreasonable resale prices of his tickets during that tour and the rest of the music industry’s concerts. His plan was to limit the amount of bots buying tickets and ticket resale in order to keep the price of tickets reasonable.
The tour was a success. According to the singer, the tickets were no more than $156 and people did not have to fight with fake accounts for the seats.
“I didn’t care about selling out the tour in thirty seconds, I cared about people getting reasonably priced tickets. We sold all the tickets in 3 waves to actual fans, we hired teams to limit bots, and we sacrificed a lot of personal things to give real people, real seats,” Bryan revealed on an Instagram post.
Bryan aims to avoid this problem again as registration for the tour is now open on zachbryanpresale.com. The ticket presale will start on September 6th and continue through the 7th, immediately followed by public ticket sale on September 8th.
