PITTSBURGH — Healthy Ride, the public bike share system in Pittsburgh, is advising their customers to find another form of transport.
“The forecast shows consistently low temperatures with negative degree windchills, which can lead to dangerous conditions for riders,” Healthy Ride said. “Consistent below freezing temperatures may affect battery life and bicycle functionality. Please plan ahead and stay safe in your travels.”
The winter weather advisory is still in effect, so please plan alternate transit until Friday, February 1st. Stay warm out there! ❄️ pic.twitter.com/WFn1XRG8C0
