The 6,200-seat music hall which is located in the western outskirts of Moscow was sold out for the night.
After the first shots and explosions rang out there was a massive stampede as everyone ran towards the exits. 100 people were evacuated from their basement hiding spot.
Hundreds of emergency crews were dispatched within minutes of these reports and the Russian government has taken this very seriously as all Moscow events have been canceled. Events in the rest of Russia have been canceled as well. Airports, Transportation stations, and areas in the capital region had their security tightened.
