Pittsburgh police respond to accident on McKees Rocks Bridge

PITTSBURGH — An accident on the McKees Rocks Bridge closed the road throughout the night Friday.

Nine people were involved in the accident that took place on the bridge.

According to a statement from Allegheny County, five vehicles were involved in the accident. When RMU Sentry Media arrived at the scene, police were making measurements on only three cars.

Two of the victims were transported to the hospital in critical condition and another two were transported in serious condition.

The cause of the accident is still unknown.
