Jeff James, the chief of police, has announced new parking restrictions for this week.

There will be two times this week that staff and students need to be aware of parking restrictions.

The first will be on Tuesday. The UPMC Events Center will host the Trey Anastasio Band and Goose. Vehicles will need to be out of the Washington gravel lots and Patrick Henry lots by 4 p.m. Vehicles are able to be moved back on Wednesday.

The second time will be on Saturday. There will be a football game against Bryant University at 12 p.m. Vehicles must be removed from the Washington gravel lot and Patrick Henry by midnight on Friday. Students and staff may use the lots again starting anytime after 5 p.m on Saturday.

He mentioned that vehicles should be relocated to the upper Massey lot.

He also reminded students that Patrick Henry is a communiter lot and vehicles should not be parked there overnight.
