With a couple major events at the UPMC Events Center this weekend, there are parking restrictions for the Washington gravel and Patrick Henry lots.

Those who park their vehicles in the Washington gravel lot should relocate to the upper Massey lot by 3 p.m. on Friday. Vehicles can return to the gravel lot after 1 a.m. on Monday.

There will be no parking in the Patrick Henry lot by the Elaine Boyd Library from 3 p.m. on Friday until Monday morning.

“Please move your vehicle to avoid ticketing and possible towing,” RMU Police Chief Jeff James said in an email to students.

James also said in the email that there will be a ticket raffle to the Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias and Bring Me The Horizon shows as a thank you for cooperating with parking restrictions. Only current RMU students can enter via Google Forms before Wednesday at 5 p.m. The winners will be announced via email from James on Thursday.

Gabriel Iglesias will perform Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Bring Me The Horizon will perform Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
