Port Authority to offer free rides for kids on New Year’s Eve

PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Port Authority will offer free rides to children on New Year’s Eve.
The free service will begin at 4 p.m. on Dec. 31 for children ages 6 to 12-years-old. Children must be accompanied by an adult wearing a First Night pin, according to a post on Twitter.
Port Authority will be providing free rides for children ages 6 to 12 on New Year’s Eve, from 4:00 pm to end of service, when accompanied by an adult wearing a First Night button. As always, children under 5 ride free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult. #FirstNightPGH

Riders within the age range will receive free service until the end of service that evening.
