One person was killed and two wounded in a shooting incident in downtown Pittsburgh on Thursday night around 10:30 p.m.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, the incident happened at Smithfield Street and Strawberry Way. The man who was killed was identified as 24-year-old Lonnie Latham III. Those wounded were a man who was shot in the foot and a woman who was shot in the lower body.
Two individuals were taken to Pittsburgh Police Headquarters for questioning, but no charges have been filed as of yet.
“Everybody started running,” stated Danyelle Davis, a patron at a nearby bar at the time of the incident.
WPXI reporter Peter DeLuca tweeted that witnesses stated that two men were seen arguing before the shots rang out.
The two individuals wounded in the shooting are in stable condition.
