02/15/22: Medical Emergency: A student called to report a medical emergency at Yorktown Hall. Officers responded and notified Residence Life. The student refused medics and took an Uber to the hospital. The case is closed.

02/15/22: Departmental Information: An RMU Island Sports Center Public Safety Officer received a complaint in the golf dome for unruly soccer players. The referee reported the players were using vulgar language. The complaint was investigated and found to be unfounded. This case is closed.

02/16/22: Traffic Stop: RMU Police conducted a traffic stop for failing to stop at a posted stop sign. The officer explained the reason for the stop and the driver was issued five citations. The case is closed.

02/16/22: Burglary Unlawful Entry: A student reported money missing from their wallet in Ross Hall. A voluntary statement form was completed. RMU Detectives are investigating this incident. This case is pending.

02/17/22: Medical Emergency: A parent called requesting a welfare check on their student due to a medical emergency. Officers responded and notified Residence Life. Officers made contact with the student and had them call their parents. The case is closed.

02/17/22: Booted Vehicle: RMU Police booted a vehicle for an excessive amount of unpaid parking tickets outside Marshall Hall. This case is closed.

02/18/22: Disturbance/Loud Music or People: Residence Life reported a noise complaint in Monroe Hall. RMU Police responded along with Residence Life. Upon arrival, officers could hear a verbal argument inside the room. The students said they were just talking out their problems. This case is closed.

02/19/22: Student Conduct Alcohol: A student reported a medical emergency in Lexington Hall. Officers responded and notified Residence Life. Medics arrived on scene and evaluated the student. One student will be sent through Student Conduct for violating the alcohol policy. The case is closed.

02/19/22: Student Conduct Alcohol: RMU Police received a noise complaint for Yorktown Hall from Residence Life. Officers responded. Four students will be sent through Student Conduct for violating the alcohol policy. This case is closed.

02/19/22: Fire Alarm-Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Lexington Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt pizza. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset. The case is closed.

02/20/22: Fire Alarm-Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Lexington Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be steam from the shower. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset. This case is closed.

02/21/22: Accident Involving Damage-Unattended Vehicle: A student reported hitting another vehicle in the Yorktown Hall parking lot. Officers responded and identified both vehicle owners. All pertinent information was obtained for insurance purposes. Pictures were taken. The case is closed.
