Theft by Unlawful Taking: A resident student reported their clothes missing from the laundry room in Yorktown Hall. Officers reviewed the cameras. The student’s clothing was returned. One student sent through student conduct.

Disable Vehicle Motorist Assist: RMU Maintenance notified the RMU Police of a disabled vehicle at the front entrance of campus. Officers made contact with the owner and had the vehicle towed.
Theft by Unlawful Taking: RMU student reported their Apple AirPods are missing from the UPMC Event Center. Officers checked the building and cameras. The UMPC Event Center Staff was notified about the theft.
Lost Property: RMU student reported their Lululemon leggings are missing from Ross Hall. Officers reviewed cameras but were unable to locate the leggings or identify a suspect.
Found Property: RMU Grounds found a necklace in the Colonial Way Lot. The necklace was logged into Lost and Found.

Theft by Unlawful Taking: A parent walked into the station to report her son’s shoes were stolen from the Island Sports Center. It was discovered another parent took the shoes by mistake. The shoes were returned.

Departmental Information: A visitor from the WPIAL basketball game reported their vehicle was struck in the Student Center Lot.
Fire Alarm/Smoke Detector Activated: Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm in Madison Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be from a hair dryer. The fire department was cancelled and panel reset.

Medical Emergency: RMU staff requested medical attention for a student in the Center for Global Engagement. The student was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

Accident Involving Damage – Unattended Vehicle: Caller reported a hit and run to their vehicle in the Colonial Way Lot. Officers made contact with both owners. Report and pictures taken for insurance purposes.

Fire Alarm/Smoke Detector Activated: Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm in Concord Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt food. The fire department was canceled and the panel reset.
