March 4, 2020

Medical Emergency:  A resident student reported another RMU student fell down the stairs. Officers arrived and the student denied medical attention. The student was given a courtesy ride to their vehicle.

Departmental Information: RMU faculty stopped by the station requesting assistance with PennDot form. Officer assisted and signed the form.

March 5, 2020

Trespass Warning: Trespass warning issued.

Civil Complaint: RMU faculty member reported a RMU staff member has traveled to an area affected by the Coronavirus. This information was forwarded to the appropriate university officials.

Fire Alarm/Smoke Detector Activated: Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt food. The fire department was canceled and the panel reset.

Departmental Information: Moon Police investigating a sexual assault of a RMU resident.

March 7, 2020

Lost Property: RMU resident reported their Lululemon leggings are missing from Yorktown Hall. RMU Detectives will review camera footage.

March 8, 2020

Suspicious Incident: RMU resident reported hearing noises coming from an unoccupied dorm room. RMU Police and RES Life checked the room and found it unoccupied.

Suspicious Incident: A parent walked into the station to report damage to their student’s door. RMU Police photographed the damage. This incident was forwarded to Facilities.

March 9, 2020

Medical Emergency: Allegheny County 911 called to report an ambulance was dispatched to John Jay Gym. Medics arrived on scene and transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital.
