5/19/21 – Fire Alarm activated – Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be steam from the shower. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset and the case was closed.

5/19/21 – Lost Property – A RMU student found a work visa on a sidewalk and returned it to the Barry Center. An officer logged it into Lost and Found. The card will be mailed back to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services if not claimed. This case is closed.

5/20/21 – Departmental Information – RMU Police notified the IT Department about the phone lines dropping calls. IT was able to resolve the problem as well as close the case.

5/20/21 – Found Property – RMU Officer was patrolling campus and noticed a leaf blower left near Joe Walton Circle. A lost and Found form was completed and turned over to RMU Maintenance thus closing the case.

5/22/21 – Disturbance – RMU Island Sports Center staff requested officers to attend to a group of disorderly and disruptive juveniles. Officers responded and located the juveniles in question. The parents were identified and updated about the incident. Which led to the case being closed.

5/24/21 – Fire Alarm – Smoke Detector Activated – Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt food. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset and the case was closed.
