Trouble Alarm: Guardian Protection reported a Trouble Alarm at the RMU Island Sport Center. RMU Police responded and notified RMU Maintenance due to the ISC being closed for the holiday. The building was checked and showed no signs of smoke or fire. The panel was rest.

Power Outage: RMU Campus experienced several wide power outages throughout the evening. Guardian Protection reported multiple trouble alarms. RMU Maintenance was notified.

Fire Alarm/Smoke Detector Activated: Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the student sleeping when the alarm went off. No sign of smoke or fire. The fire department was cancelled and the panel reset.

Departmental Information: RMU Island Sports Center employee injured his leg. He received first aid and filled out the proper paperwork.

Departmental Information: ISC Public Safety Officer informed spectators they were not allowed to watch the game due to the new Covid policies. A spectator became confrontational and angry about the policy.

Fire Alarm/False Activation: Parkhurst Manager reported a fire alarm activated in Yorktown Hall when an employee bumped a pull station. Officers responded and found it was coming from a room. The room was unoccupied and Colonial Central notified. The fire department was cancelled.

Medical Emergency: ISC Public Safety Officer reported a Patron of the Island Sports Center needed medical attention. The patient was evaluated by Robinson EMS and released.

Departmental Information: RMU Police received a call from the ISC about a suspicious male leaning on a patron’s vehicle. Officers responded and spoke with vehicle owner. The man walked away but was identified as a landscape worker currently working at the ISC.
