8/29/18- Welfare Check- Officers were advised of a people laying on the red brick road. Officers responded, and found it to be students looking at the stars. (closed)
8/29/18- Warrant Arrest- This department assisted the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Department on serving a warrant. Warrant was served without incident. (closed)
8/29/18- Accident- A student reported damage done to their vehicle while parked in the Gazebo Lot. All pertinent information was obtained, and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (closed)
8/29/18- Wires Down- This department was advised of a wire down on Colonial Way. The wire was a cable line, and the cable company was notified. (closed)
8/30/18- Fire Alarm- Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm activated in Monroe Hall. The cause of the alarm was determined to be a faulty air conditioner in an unoccupied room. Maintenance replaces the air conditioner. (closed)
8/30/18- Accident- A student reported damage done to their vehicle while parked in the Lower John Jay parking lot. All pertinent information was obtained, and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (closed)
8/30/18- Lost Property- An employee reported losing their University issued keys. A report was made, and forwarded to the University locksmith. (closed)
8/30/18- Fire Alarm- Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall. The cause of the alarm was steam from the shower. Maintenance reset the alarm system. (closed)
8/30/18- Departmental Information- A student came to the Police Department looking for assistance with contacting the Counseling Center. Contact was made with the Counseling Center. (closed)
8/31/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall. The cause for the alarm was burnt food. Maintenance reset the alarm system. (closed)
8/31/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Braddock Hall. The cause for the alarm was burnt popcorn. Maintenance was advised to reset the alarm system. (closed)
9/02/18- Traffic Stop- An officer conducted a traffic stop on University Boulevard for a violation that occurred on campus. Three citations were issued at the conclusion of the stop. (closed)
9/02/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington Hall. The cause for the alarm was the residents cooking. Maintenance was advised to reset the alarm system. (closed)
9/03/18- Underage Drinking- Officers were called to Washington Hall for a noise complaint. Upon arrival, there was alcohol present in the room. Citations were issued for Underage Drinking, as well as being sent through Student Conduct. (closed)
9/03/18- Smell of Marijuana- Officers were called to Washington Hall for a smell of marijuana. The building was checked with negative results. (closed)
9/03/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall. The cause for the alarm was boiling water. Maintenance was advised to reset the alarm system. (closed)
