Medical Emergency: County Dispatch called regarding a person at the ISC having trouble breathing and diabetic issues. Ohio Township Police and RMU Police responded. Valley Ambulance Authority transported the patient to Passavant Hospital. The case is closed.

Fire Alarm– Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Rooney House. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt food. RMU Maintenance was notified. The Moon Fire Department was canceled. The panel was reset. This case is closed.

Hazardous Condition: Maintenance, Mike O’Neill, requested that the Island Sports Center be evacuated due to a possible chemical leak in one of the compressors. Per ammonia protocol, all persons were asked to leave the ISC for safety precautions. Coraopolis and Neville Island Fire Depts responded. Valley Ambulance treated the person for difficulty breathing and released. The case is closed.

Medical Emergency: County Dispatch called for Officers to respond to Concord Hall, room 104, for an intoxicated person. Officers responded and upon arrival contacted Valley Ambulance Authority to treat the patient. The patient was transported to Sewickley Hospital for their safety. Res Life was also notified. This case is closed.

Fire Alarm – Smoke Detector Activated: A student called to advise that the fire alarm in Hancock 3E has been activated. Guardian Protection did not call to advise of this activation. No fire or smoke was detected. Maintenance was called to check the alarm sensor for dorm room 3E. The alarm panel was reset. The case is closed.

Property Damage (Vehicle): Officers were called to Salem Hall for damage to an unattended vehicle. Officers viewed damage to the passenger door of the owner’s vehicle. A report was taken for insurance purposes. No injuries were reported. This case is closed.

Fire Alarm – Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection called to advise that the fire alarm in Concord Hall 102 has been activated. No fire or smoke was detected upon arrival. Moon Twp. Fire dept. was called off and the fire panel was reset. The case is closed.
