10/09/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall. The activation was found to be false, and the alarm system was reset. (closed)
10/09/18- Suspicious Person- A report was made to this department that someone was on the roof of the Jefferson Center. This report was made after the fact, and there was no way to verify this information. (closed)
10/09/18- Accident- This department was advised of a vehicle being damaged while parked in the Wheatley Center lot. All pertinent information was obtained, and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (closed)
10/09/18- Departmental Information- This department took a report from the football office in reference to an issue with a student. A report was created in case anything further where to transpire. (closed)
10/09/18- Missing Person- Residence Life requested assistance looking for items taken from the third floor of Yorktown Hall. This department was able to identify the person involved, and forwarded the information to Residence Life. (closed)
10/09/18- Power Outage- There was a brief power outage campus wide. (closed)
10/10/18- Trouble Alarm- Guardian reported multiple trouble alarms activated in Salem Hall. Maintenance was advised of the situation, and will notify Guardian to have a technician check the system. (closed)
10/10/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Monroe Hall. The cause of the alarm was from hairspray. Maintenance reset the alarm system.
10/11/18- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall. The cause for the alarm was steam from the shower. Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm system. (closed)
10/12/18- Recovered Property- A student reported leaving their keys in their car, and have left for a trip. The keys were retrieved, and this department locked the vehicle. (closed)
10/12/18- Welfare Check- This department was asked to check on a student in Braddock Hall, that a family member was unable to contact. Officers responded, and made contact with the student, whose phone was malfunctioning. (closed)
10/14/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated for Salem Hall. Officers responded and found no cause for the activation. Maintenance was advised of the call. (closed)
10/14/18- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington Hall. The cause for the alarm was from the residents cooking. Maintenance was advised to reset the alarm systems. (closed)
10/15/18- Fire Alarm- Fire alarm activated in Salem Hall, and was activated from the residents cooking. Maintenance was advised to reset the alarm system. (closed)
10/15/18- Abandoned Vehicle- Officers located an abandoned vehicle in the Yorktown parking lot. Its owner removed the vehicle the next day. (closed)
10/16/18- Departmental Information- An employee reported having problems off campus with someone, and requested a report issued so that this department is aware as well. (closed)
10/16/18- Theft- A student reported items taken from their vehicle while parked in the Colonial Way lot. A report was taken and this incident is under investigation. (open)
10/16/18- Departmental Information- A professor reported having a problem with a student in their class. An officer from this department spoke with the student, and advised them to cease any contact with the professor. (closed)
10/16/18- Medical Emergency- A patron at the Island Sports Center sustained an injury and was taken to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment by Valley Ambulance. (closed)
