10/25/2022: Malfunctioning Elevator: Students reported being stuck in the elevator in Lexington Hall. Officers responded and found the elevator empty. RMU Maintenance arrived and observed the elevator working properly.

10/25/2022: Theft of Property: A student reported their Apple AirPods missing from Patrick Henry and they are now pinging in Yorktown Hall. Officers were unable to locate them in Yorktown Hall. RMU Detectives are investigating this incident.

10/25/2022: Fire Alarm- False Activation: Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm activation in Massey Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be smoke from musical practice. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset.

10/26/2022: Fire Alarm- False Activation: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in the Nicholson Center. Officers responded and found the cause to be contractors testing the system. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled.

10/26/2022: Departmental Information: Complaint reported their cell phone missing from the RMU Island Sports Center. The tracker on the phone was turned off. This report is to document this incident.

10/27/2022: Parking Complaint: RMU Police were conducting parking/traffic enforcement along Massey Way. One student will be cited via summons for failing to stop at a stop sign.

10/27/2022: Fire Alarm- Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt toast. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset.

10/28/2022: Medical Emergency: Student Health Services requested Valley Ambulance. Officers escorted the ambulance to Jefferson Center and they transported the patient to the hospital.

10/28/2022: Welfare Check: Anonymous caller requested a welfare check in Hancock Hall. Residence Life and RMU Police responded and located the student.

10/28/2022: Fire Alarm- Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be a student cooking. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset.

10/29/2022: Disturbance/Loud Music or People: RMU Police received a noise complaint for Lexington Hall. Residence Life was notified due to a fire at the RMU Island Sports Center.

10/29/2022: Fire: RMU Island Sports Center Public Safety Officer was informed of a possible fire in the building. The building was evacuated and the Neville Township Fire Chief was on the scene. The fire was contained and extinguished by the fire department.

10/28/2022: Fire: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in the RMU Island Sport Center. Officers responded and contacted the RMU Maintenance and the Chief. It was confirmed a chemical fire. The fire was extinguished and Hazmat determined the building safe to enter.

10/29/2022: Fire Alarm- Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt food. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset.

10/30/2022: Student Conduct Alcohol: Caller reported an intoxicated student in Salem Hall. Officers responded and notified Residence Life staff. Valley Ambulance evaluated the patient and transported to the hospital. One student will be sent through student conduct for violating the alcohol policy.
