10/8/19- Welfare check- This Dept. received a request for a welfare check on a resident student. Unable to make contact with. See report #19-0531 (closed).

10/8/19- Fire alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm in Madison Hall. Officers responded and determined the alarm to be false. The Fire Dept was canceled and the alarm panel reset (closed).

10/8/19- Found property- A student dropped off a wallet found in the Washington Lot. The owner was contacted and the wallet was logged into Lost and Found for safekeeping (closed).

10/8/19- Welfare check- Continuation of Report #19-0528. Contact was made with the student and everything was fine (closed).

10/9/19- Fire alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall. Officers responded and determined the alarm to be false. The Fire Dept was canceled and the alarm panel reset (closed).

10/9/19- Freedom card theft- Student Financial Services reported a student’s freedom card used without permission. Investigation showed no evidence of compromise (closed).

10/9/19- Disturbance- A Professor reported a disruptive student refusing to leave. Officers arrived and removed an intoxicated male from Hale Center. One student referred to Student Conduct (closed).

10/9/19- Found property- A student turned in a wallet found on campus. The owner was notified and the wallet was logged into lost and found for safekeeping (closed).

10/10/19- Found property- A student turned in an Apple watch found in the library. The watch was returned to the rightful owner shortly after being logged in to Lost and Found (closed).

10/10/19- Suspicious incident- Residence Life reported a tip they received for a party in Yorktown. Officers responded and found nothing illegal (closed).

10/10/19- Tamper with records/ID- A student reported someone using his information to open a phone account. Report taken for informational purposes. Verizon is handling the investigation internally (closed).

10/11/19- 201 Commitment- The Counseling Center requested assistance with a voluntary evaluation. Officer transported the student to the hospital via patrol vehicle (closed).

10/13/19- Vehicle damage- Officer reported that the laptop stand is broken in the Patrol Vehicle (closed).

10/13/19- Welfare check- Coaching staff requested a welfare check on a student player. Officers responded and made contact. No need for concern (closed).

10/13/19- Fire alarm- Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be cooking. The Fire Dept was canceled and the alarm panel reset (closed).

10/14/19- Departmental information- RMU Environmental Services Technician reported water flooding a common area in Washington Hall. Residents left the water on in a maintenance closet. Students were advised that they are not permitted to use the closet (closed).

10/14/19- Suspicious incident- A resident student reported that early yesterday someone was in his room acting strangely. Investigation showed a misunderstanding. Nothing suspicious (closed).
