Police Blotter 10/10/17-10/16/17

10/11/17 -Suspicious Incident- A bible was found left behind by Romo’s and turned into this department.  The bible will be entered into lost and found until the owner can claim it.(closed)

10/11/17 -Smell of Marijuana- Officers were called to Massey Hall for an odor of suspected marijuana.  Officers checked the building with negative results.(closed)

10/11/17 -Traffic Stop-A traffic stop was conducted off campus for a violation that occurred on campus.  The driver was issued citations at the conclusion of the stop.(closed)

10/11/17 -Traffic Stop- A traffic stop was conducted in front of Sewall Center.  Two citations were issued to the driver at the conclusion of the stop.(closed)

10/11/17 -Theft- An outside vendor reported three boxes of merchandise possible taken from their vehicle while on campus.  This incident is under investigation at this time.(open)

10/12/17 -Accident- This department was notified of a minor accident in the Lower John Jay Parking lot.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes.(closed)

10/12/17 -Departmental Information- This department was notified of a male at Yorktown Hall that is on the PNG list.  Officers located the male who left the property without incident.(closed)

10/13/17 -Accident- This department was notified of a minor accident in the Yorktown Hall parking lot.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes.(closed)

10/13/17 -Property Damage- A student reported damage done to their vehicle while parked in the Sewall Center lot.  A report was taken for the damage done to the vehicle(closed).

10/13/17 -Departmental Information- This department assisted a student with information pertaining to a harassment incident.  A report was filed for information purposes at this time.(closed)

10/13/17 -302- Officers were called to Hamilton Hall for a student in need of a medical evaluation.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment.(closed)

10/13/17 -Departmental Information- Officers assisted a student with a disabled vehicle on Massey Way.(closed)

10/13/17 -Traffic Stop- A traffic stop was initiated on University Blvd., for a violation that occurred on campus.  One citation was issued to the driver at the conclusion of the stop.(closed)

10/14/17 -Accident- This department was notified of a minor accident that occurred on campus.  This incident is under investigation at this time. (open)

10/16/17 -Student Conduct- Officers were notified of students vandalizing decorations in Yorktown Hall.  All parties involved have been identified and will be sent through Student Conduct for their actions.(closed)

10/15/17- Entered in Error- This incident number was entered in error.(closed)

10/15/17-Medical Emergency- This department was advised of a student in need of medical attention in Lexington Hall.  Valley Ambulance was contacted and transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital.(closed)

10/16/17 -Welfare Check- Officers were requested to check on a student in Washington Hall.  Officers were able to make contact with the student and made arraignments for them to speak with the Counseling Center.(closed)

10/16/17 -Lost Property- A student reported losing a personal belonging on campus.  All pertinent information was obtained and the student was advised they would be contacted if the item is turned into this department(closed)

10/16/17 -Student Conduct-This department and Residence Life observed an odor of marijuana in Yorktown Hall.  The room in question was located, and the involved parties will be sent through Student Conduct for their actions.(closed)
