Police Blotter 10/17/17-10/23/17

10/17/17 -Departmental Information-A parent reported possible damage done to their daughter’s car while parked on campus.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (closed)

10/17/17 -Student Conduct-Officers were called to Yorktown Hall for a smell of marijuana.  The students involved were advised they would be sent through Student Conduct for their involvement.(closed)

10/18/17 -Medical Emergency-A student at Yorktown Hall was in need of medical attention. Valley Ambulance was contacted and the student was transported to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment.(closed)

10/19/17 -Departmental Information-Residence Life requested this department perform a welfare check on a student at Yorktown Hall.  Officers were able to make contact with the student, who required no assistance from this department.(closed)

10/19/17 -Welfare Check-This department was requested to perform a welfare check on a student in Washington Hall.  Officers met with the student was advised they were fine and had an appointment scheduled with the Counseling Center.(closed)

10/19/17 -Departmental Information-Two students stopped at the Police Department and requested assistance on how to deal with a roommate conflict.  This department assisted, and referred the students to the appropriate department for further information.(closed)

10/20/17 -Departmental Information-This department was requested to provide an escort from Wheatley Center to the Scaiffe parking lot.  Officers assisted without incident.(closed)

10/20/17 -Medical Emergency-A patron at the Island Sports Center sustained an injury during public skate.  Medical transport was refused and their spouse drove them to the Hospital for treatment.(closed)

10/20/17 -Medical Emergency-This department were advised of a student in need of medical attention at Yorktown Hall.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment.(closed)

10/21/17 -Smell of Marijuana-Officers were called to Yorktown Hall for a smell of marijuana.  Officers checked the area in question, and met with negative results.(closed)

10/22/17 -Smell of Marijuana-Officers were called to Yorktown Hall for a smell of marijuana.  Officers checked the area in question, and met with negative results.(closed)

10/22/17 -Student Conduct-Officers were called to Ross Hall for a possible underage party.  Officers responded and advised all parties involved they would be sent through Student Conduct for their actions.(closed)

10/22/17 -Suspicious Incident-This department received a 911 hang up call from a University phone number.  Officers checked the location, and found nothing to be out of the ordinary(closed)

10/23/17 -Departmental Information-This department is investigating a possible harassment incident.(open)

10/23/17 -Student Conduct-Officers were called to Yorktown Hall for a welfare check.  Upon arrival officers could detect an odor of marijuana.  All parties involved were advised they would be sent through Student Conduct for their involvement.(closed)
