12/07/21: Terroristic Threats: A student called to report another student was threatened by their roommate. Officers responded and notified Residence Life along with the Counseling Center. One student will be sent through Student Conduct. The case is closed.

 

12/07/21: Fire Alarm-Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Marshall Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt cheese sticks. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset. This case is closed.

 

12/07/21: Smell of Marijuana: Anonymous caller reported the smell of marijuana in Marshall Hall. Officers responded and notified Residence Life. One student will be sent through Student Conduct for violating the drug policy. The case is closed.

 

12/08/21: Medical Emergency: RMU Police were notified of a medical emergency court-side at the UPMC Events Center. A visitor fell while leaving their seats. They denied medical attention. This case is closed.

 

12/08/21: Medical Emergency: RMU Police were notified of a medical emergency in the rotunda of the UPMC Events Center. Medics evaluated the patient and transported them to the hospital. The case is closed.

 

12/10/21: Suspicious Incident: A student reported damage to their vehicle parked at Yorktown Hall. Cameras were reviewed with negative findings. Pictures were taken of the damage and added to the report. This case is closed.

12/11/21: Disturbance/Loud Music or People: RMU Police received a noise complaint for Concord Hall. Officers responded and notified Residence Life. All occupants were identified and informed of the quiet hours. They apologized and turned down the music. The case is closed.

12/13/21: Possession of Marijuana: A cleaner reported finding a small amount of marijuana in the Student Rec Center. Officers responded and collected the marijuana. This incident will be turned over to the detective to review the cameras. This case is pending.

 

12/13/21: Assist other Police Agency/EMS Agency: A student reported being assaulted in Coraopolis. Coraopolis Police were notified and an officer responded to the Barry Center. The Counseling Center was notified. The case is closed.
