Police Blotter 2/12/19- 2/18/19

2/13/19- Medical Emergency- Officers were advised of a student in need of medical attention in the Rise Center.  Officers responded, and the student refused any medical attention (closed).

2/15/19- Suspicious Incident- Officers were notified of a suspicious vehicle in the Gazebo parking lot.  The interaction ended with the suspect fleeing the area, and eventually stopped at another location on campus.  Charges were filed against the driver of this incident (closed).

2/15/19- Smell of Marijuana- Officers were called to Washington Hall for a smell of marijuana.  Officers could detect a faint odor, but were unable to locate the origin (closed).

2/15/19- Fire Alarm- A fire alarm was activated in Lexington Hall.  The cause for the alarm was the residents cooking. Maintenance was advised to reset the alarm system (closed).

2/16/19- Departmental Information- A student came to the station and wanted a report on file for an incident that occurred off campus.  All pertinent information was obtained, and a report was written for information purposes (closed).

2/17/19- Fire Alarm- A fire alarm was activated in Adams Hall.  The cause for the alarm was burnt food in the microwave. Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm system (closed).

2/17/19- Smell of Marijuana- Officers were called to Washington Hall for a smell of marijuana.  The students involved were advised they would be sent through Student Conduct for their actions (closed).

2/18/19- Personal Injury- A maintenance employee reported falling in the Nicholson Center while moving a broken table. The employee refused medical attention (closed).

2/18/19- Accident- This department was notified of a minor accident in the Lower John Jay parking lot.  All pertinent information was obtained, and a report was issued for insurance purposes (closed).

2/18/19- Departmental Information – This incident # was issued for insurance purposes (closed).

2/18/19- Fire Alarm- Fire alarm activated in Hancock Hall.  The resident burnt something in the microwave. Maintenance was advised to reset the alarm system (closed).
