2/28/18 -Theft-Parkhurst reported a possible theft of food from the Nicholson Student Center. This department conducted an investigation, and forwarded the information to Parkhurst to be handled by them.(closed)
2/28/18 -Medical Emergency-This department was advised of a student in need of medical attention at the Student Rec Center. Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment.(closed)
3/01/18 -Departmental Information-This department conducted an investigation in relation to letters that were sent to the University. The letters where not threating in nature and the information was documented in case of receiving any future correspondence.(closed)
3/01/18 -Harrassment-A student wanted information documented about a harassment situation that is occurring off campus. All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued.(closed)
3/01/18 -Departmental Information-This department is investigating a report of a student receiving a fraudulent check. (open)
3/02/18 -Accident-This department was advised of a minor accident in the Colonial Way parking lot. All pertinent information was obtained, and a report was issued for insurance purposes.(closed)
3/03/18 -Disturbance-This department intervened with a verbal argument between two patrons at the Island Sports Center. Both parties left, and no further action was required from this department.(closed)
3/03/18 -Criminal Mischief-A student reported damage done to his vehicle possibly while on campus. All pertinent information was obtained, and a report was issued for insurance purposes.(closed)
03/06/18 -Theft-A student reported shoes taken from Gallatin Hall. An investigation was conducted and the shoes were located and returned to the owner.(closed)
3/06/18 -Property Damage-This department was advised of a vehicle hitting a bench outside of Joe Walton Stadium. All pertinent information was obtained and forwarded to the appropriate departments.(closed)
3/06/18 -Student Conduct-This department investigated an incident at Yorktown Hall pertaining to images drawn on a dry erase board. The involved parties will be sent through Student Conduct, as well as receiving Trespass Warnings(closed)
3/07/18 -Departmental Information-A parking ticket was turned into this department with profanity written on it. The involved person is no longer a student, and was issued a Trespass Warning.(closed)
3/07/18 -Departmental Information-Moon Township Police notified this department of an incident that involved a student of the University. All necessary departments were notified.(closed)
3/08/18 -Lost Property-An employee reported losing their University issued keys. A report was written and forwarded to the University locksmith.(closed)
3/10/18 -Found Property-Coraopolis Police advised of finding a wallet that belongs to a student of the University. Contact was made with the student notifying them where to retrieve their wallet.(closed)
3/10/18 -Lost Property-A report of a missing hockey bag was turned into the front desk at the Island Sport Center. This case is under investigation at this time(open)
3/12/18 -Departmental Information-The Police Department was requested to assist the HR Department on an on-going employee matter. The incident is being further investigated. (open)
3/14/18 -Suspicious Incident-A student notified this department of an incident that occurred off campus. This department documented the incident.(closed)
3/14/18 -Criminal Mischief- A student reported damage done to their vehicle while parked in the Colonial Way parking lot. A report was issued for insurance purposes.(closed)
3/14/18 -Student Conduct-This department was notified of someone taking a One Way sign from Washington Way. Officers were able to locate the student involved and retrieve the sign. The student will be sent through Student Conduct.(closed)
3/15/18 -Assist Another Agency-This department assisted the Hampton Police Department with information on a student needed for an investigation.(closed)
3/17/18 -Student Conduct-Residence Life reported a male outside of Lexington Hall who appeared intoxicated. The male was waiting for his girlfriend to arrive and was over the age of twenty-one.(closed)
3/17/18 -Departmental information-A student came to the Police Department requested to speak with someone in the Counseling Center. Arraignments were made with someone to speak with the student.(closed)
3/17/18 -Fire Alarm-Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall. Upon officers arrival it was determined that the cause was from the resident cooking.(closed)
3/17/18 -Disturbance-Officers were called to Concord Hall for a noise complaint. Officers located the room in question and advised them to keep the noise down. No further action required from this department.(closed)
3/18/18-Departmental Information-A student reported someone placing flyers on vehicles in the Colonial Way parking lot. The company was contacted and advised of the proper way to distribute information on campus.(closed)
3/18/18-Lost Property-An employee of the ISC reported an article of clothing missing from the copy room. A report was issued and the owner will be notified if the clothing is found or returned.
3/18/18 -Medical Emergency-A student requested transport to the Hospital for a medical evaluation. Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital.(closed)
3/18/18 -Found Property-A phone was turned into the department that was left at the Student Rec Center. The phone will be kept at the Police Department until the owner can claim it.(closed)
3/19/18 -Medical Emergency-Valley Ambulance reported a request for them to respond to Washington Hall for a male in need of medical attention.(closed)
3/19//18 -Departmental Information-A parent advised they would be staying with their child on campus due to an injury sustained earlier in the day. Residence Life was contacted and approved the stay. No further action required from this department.(closed)
3/19/18 -Smell of Marijuana-Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana at Yorktown Hall. Officers located the room in question, and charges will be filed against the occupants.(closed)
