Police Blotter 3/4/14 – 3/10/14

3/4/14 – Fire – Parkhurst advised of a grease fire in the Bistro at Wheatley Center.  Officers responded and extinguished the fire without incident.  Maintenance was advised of the incident. (Closed)

3/5/14 – Student Conduct – Officer’s intervened with two students smoking electronic cigarettes inside Yorktown hall.  The students were advised not to use the devices inside.  One student became argumentative and will be sent through Judicial Affairs for his actions. (Closed)

3/7/14 – Simple Trespass – Officer’s cited a former student who is on the PNG list for simple trespass, disorderly conduct, and driving while under suspension.  The former student was viewed on the cameras inside of Braddock hall. (Closed)

3/7/14 – Lost Property – An EST reported losing their keys whole working at Yorktown hall.  After a brief period this department was advised that the keys have been located.   (Closed)

3/8/14 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in the Nicholson Center.  Officers responded and checked the building with negative results.  Maintenance was notified. (Closed)

3/8/14 – Departmental Information – A patron at the ISC fell on the ice hitting their head during a skating party.  Their parents were contacted and arrived, advising they will take her home after the party and keep an eye on her.  (Closed)

3/9/14 – Departmental Information – A maintenance cleaner at the ISC reported that fire alarm panel flashing, showing loss of communication.  An officer responded and the alarm panel was reading normal.  Maintenance was notified. (Closed)

3/9/14 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm with the fire alarm system at the ISC golf dome.  An officer responded and reset the alarm panel.  Maintenance was notified. (Closed)

3/14/14 – Welfare Check – This department received a  hang up call reported from Allegheny County 911.  Officers checked the location of the call and there was no emergency. (Closed)
