4/22/14 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student with respiratory problems needing an ambulance in Concord Hall. Valley Ambulance was notified and transported the student to Allegheny General Hospital for further treatment. (Closed)
4/23/14 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Lexington Hall. Officers arrived and checked the building with negative results. (Closed)
4/24/14 – Suspicious Incident – A student reported his vehicle wrapped in plastic cling wrap and duct tape in the Colonial Way parking lot. Officers took a report and assisted the student with removing the items from his vehicle. No damage was done to the vehicle. (Closed)
4/24/14 – Suspicious Person – Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the Yorktown parking lot. Upon checking on the vehicle, no criminal activity had taken place. (Closed)
4/24/14 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student experiencing a seizure in the Wheatley Center. Valley Ambulance was notified and transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital. (Closed)
4/24/14 – Student Conduct – This department investigated a case with a stolen Freedom Card. All suspects were identified and the funds were returned to the victim. (Closed)
4/24/14 – Alarm Malfunction – An officer found the alarm system at Yorktown in trouble mode. Maintenance was notified and was aware of the malfunction. (Closed)
4/25/14 – Public Drunkenness – While on patrol and officer viewed two male students exit a vehicle and urinate on the side of Lexington Hall. Both students were issued citations for public drunkenness and released. (Closed)
4/25/14 – Medical Emergency – This department was notified of a student with a bloody nose, and vomiting in Concord hall. Officers responded along with Valley Ambulance who transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for further treatment. (Closed)
4/25/14 – Underage Drinking – Officers at Yorktown found an intoxicated male in the restroom. The male was cited for underage drinking and transported to Coraopolis PD for safe lodging. (Closed)
4/25/14 – Underage Drinking – Officers at Yorktown found an intoxicated female in the building who was unable to stand on her own. The female was cited for underage drinking, public intoxication and transported to Coraopolis PD for safe lodging. (Closed)
4/25/14 – Student Conduct – An officer viewed an intoxicated male enter the restroom at Yorktown hall. The male was identified, and taken back to his dorm room by a friend. This incident will be handled through Judicial Affairs. (Closed)
4/25/14 – Traffic Stop – An officer initiated a traffic stop for a stop sign violation. The driver was issued a written warning and released. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Student Conduct – Officers dealt with a party on the 11th floor of Yorktown hall. All parties involved were advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for alcohol violations. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Hamilton hall. Officers responded and found that the resident burnt bacon. The officers reset the alarm. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Medical Emergency – A patron at the ISC dislocated their shoulder during a game. Valley Ambulance transported the patron to Sewickley Valley Hospital for further treatment. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Simple Trespass – A student who is on the PNG list was found outside of Salem hall. The student was cited for simple trespass and escorted from campus. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Possession of Marijuana – Two students and one non-student were caught at the softball field with marijuana. One student was charged with, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and flight to avoid apprehension. The other student was sent through Judicial Affairs and the non-student was trespassed from campus. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Disorderly Conduct – Officers viewed a male urinating on the side of Washington hall. The male was cited for disorderly conduct and released. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Underage Drinking – Officers conducted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation on Campus Drive. The driver was cited for underage drinking, public drunkenness, failure to stop at a stop sign and obedience to traffic control devices. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Traffic Stop – Officers conducted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation on Colonial Way. The driver was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Medical Emergency – Officers viewed an intoxicated female being carried into Washington hall by several people. The female was identified as a non-student and was transported to Sewickley Hospital by Valley Ambulance for treatment. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Public Drunkenness – Officers encountered a male with an open container on Massey Way. The male was cited for public drunkenness and transported back to his dorm. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Student Conduct – This department was advised of a strong odor of marijuana on the third floor of Hancock hall. Officers responded and met with the students involved. The resident of the room claimed responsibility and was advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a female passed out on the third floor of Marshall hall. The female was highly intoxicated and needed medical attention. Valley Ambulance transported the female to Sewickley Hospital for treatment. The female, a non-student, was cited for underage drinking and public drunkenness. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Public Drunkenness – Residence life staff found a male passed out in the Nicholson Student Center. The male was brought back to Barry Center, where Valley Ambulance picked him up and transported him to Sewickley Hospital for treatment. The male was cited for public intoxication. (Closed)
4/26/14 – Public Drunkenness – A student attending the Bobby Glow dance was cited for underage drinking and public drunkenness by this department. (Closed)
4/26/14- Underage Drinking – Three non-students and one student were cited for underage drinking. The non-students were also issued trespass warnings for all University property. (Closed)
4/26/14 – DUI – An officer conducted a traffic stop on Massey Way for a vehicle driving without the headlights on. The traffic stop resulted in the driver being a DUI and being charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. (Closed)
4/27/14 – Public Drunkenness – Officers viewed a male stumbling outside of Washington hall. The male was transported to Barry Center and cited for underage drinking and public drunkenness. The male was transported to Coraopolis PD for safe lodging. (Closed)
4/27/14 – Brush Fire – This department was advised of a small brushfire on the side of Joe Walton Stadium. Officers were able to extinguish the fire without incident. (Closed)
4/27/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall. Upon officers arrival it was determined the cause was burnt food. Officers reset the fire alarm panel. (Closed)
4/27/14 – Property Damage – A student reported their vehicle egged in the Yorktown parking lot. A report was issued for the incident. No damage was reported to the vehicle. (Closed)
4/27/14 – Property Damage – A maintenance employee reported damage to a vehicle owned by the university. A report was taken for insurance purposes. (Closed)
4/28/14 – Departmental Information – During a patrol in Washington hall officers located two couches in a stairwell blocking the doorway. Officers also reported trash thrown all over the stairwell. Maintenance was notified. (Closed)
4/28/14 – Student Conduct – A student changed passwords on three separate computers in a classroom in Hale Center. The student was advised that he would be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)
