6/1/21 – Fire Alarm/Smoke Detector Activated – Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Marshall Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be steam from cooking. The fire department was cancelled. The panel was reset. This case is closed.

6/1/21 – Suspicious Person – Moon Dispatch requested RMU Police assistance with a suspicious person on campus. Moon Police were already speaking to the individual was asked to leave campus since they were not a student. This case is closed.

6/1/21 – Assist Other Police Agency – Moon Dispatch requested a female officer to search a female prisoner at the Moon Police station. This case is closed.

6/2/21 – Smell of Marijuana – Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Hancock Hall. Officers responded and were able to detect an odor of burnt marijuana. One student will be sent through Student Conduct for violating the Drug Policy. This case is closed.

6/3/21 – Fire Alarm/Smoke Detector Activated – Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be dust from the cleaners. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was cancelled. The panel was reset. This case is closed.

6/4/21 – Failure to Stop at Stop Sign – RMU Police observed a vehicle fail to stop at a posted stop sign. The officer conducted a traffic stop and explained the reason for the stop. Four citations were issued. This case is closed.

6/7/21 – Traffic Stop – RMU Police observed a vehicle fail to stop at a posted stop sign. The officer conducted a traffic stop and explained the reason for the stop. Driver was given a verbal warning. This case is closed.
