8/26/2021: Departmental Information- RMU Police received a report of a hit and run in the Red Brick Road. Officers met with the complainant and took pictures of the damage. This incident is under investigation. This case is closed.

8/26/2021: Accident Involving Damage-Unattended Vehicle- A visitor reported they had hit another vehicle in the Patrick Henry Lot. Officers responded and received all the pertinent information. Photos were taken for insurance purposes. The case was closed.

8/27/2021: Departmental Information- RMU Police received a call from a student who needed a jumpstart. Officers were unsuccessful and able to push the vehicle into the Red Brick Road. The case is closed.

8/27/2021: Found Property- RMU Police received a call from a student who lost their car keys. Officers located a set in the Lost and Found. They drove to Yorktown Hall to check if the keys matched the vehicle. They were able to unlock the vehicle and the student was given the keys. This case is closed.

8/27/2021: General Fire Alarm- RMU Police received a call for a fire in Lexington Hall. Officers arrived on scene a discovered a charred pizza box. The fire department was canceled and RMU maintenance was notified. The students were told to open windows to ventilate the room. The case is closed.

The driver did not obey officer’s commands and reversed out of the space while the officer was obtaining the license plate. The driver will be cited. This case is closed.
