08/29/17 -Accident- Complainant reported damage done to their vehicle while parked in the CFL#1 parking lot. All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)
08/29/17 -Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be steam from the shower. Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm system. (Closed)
08/30/17 -Trouble Alarm- Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in the Franklin Center. Maintenance was notified of the alarm activation. (Closed)
08/30/17 -Fire Alarm- An employee reported smoke inside Joe Walton Stadium. Officers and MTVFD responded and found the cause to be from a malfunctioning roof handler unit. The area was ventilated by the fire department, maintenance shut down the unit until it can be repaired. (Closed)
08/30/17 -Traffic Stop- An officer conducted a traffic stop on Massey Way. The driver received five citations at the conclusion of the stop. (Closed)
08/30/17 -Traffic Stop- An officer conducted a traffic stop in the Barry Center parking lot. The driver was issued two citations at the conclusion of the stop. (Closed)
08/30/17 –302 Commitment- This department was notified of a student in Yorktown Hall in need medical attention. The student was transported to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)
08/30/17 –Welfare Check- Officers met with a student at the Sewall Center who needed to get in touch with the Counseling Center. Officers assisted and made arrangements for the student and the Counseling Center. (Closed)
08/30/17 -Trouble Alarm- Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in the Nicholson Student Center. Officers and Maintenance checked the building with negative results. (Closed)
08/30/17 -Property Damage- A Maintenance employee reported damage done to their work vehicle. All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)
08/31/17 -Smell of Smoke- Residence Life reported a smell of smoke in Hamilton Hall. Officers and Maintenance checked the building and believe it was from the air conditioner unit. (Closed)
08/31/17 -Welfare Check- Officers were requested to perform a welfare check on a student. Officers met with the student involved and found everything to be in order. (Closed)
08/31/17 –Campus Wide- Officers found various hockey equipment laying by the softball field and at Yorktown Hall. Contact was made with the Hockey Department to advise the players that leaving their items outside leaves them available for theft. (Closed)
08/31/17 -Medical Emergency- A student sustained an injury while walking down the hillside by Washington Hall. The student went to the hospital on his own for his injuries. Report taken. (Closed)

09/01/17 –Smell Of Marijuana- Officers were called to Adams Hall for a smell of marijuana. Three citations were issued, as well as referral to Student Conduct. (Closed)

09/01/17 -Smell of Marijuana- Officers were called to Gallatin Hall for a smell of marijuana. Officers checked the room with Residence Life and met with negative results. (Closed)
09/01/17 -Student Conduct- Residence Life reported people carrying large amounts of alcohol in Yorktown Hall. Officers found the students and advised all involved they would be sent through Student Conduct for their actions. (Closed)
09/01/17 -Student Conduct- While on the previous call at Yorktown Hall, officers located another room with alcohol. All parties involved were advised they would be sent through Student Conduct. (Closed)
09/01/17 -Smell of Marijuana- Officers located two students with alcohol and marijuana in the lobby of Yorktown Hall. One citation was issued. (Closed)
09/02/17 -Public Drunkenness- Officers were notified of an intoxicated female at Washington Hall. Valley Ambulance transported the female to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. One citation was issued. (Closed)
09/02/17 -Medical Emergency- An officer required medical attention during their shift. Valley Ambulance responded and treated the officer. (closed)
09/02/17 -Disturbance- Officers were called to Washington Hall for a loud group of people outside. Officers responded and found the individuals were waiting for a ride back to Coraopolis. Officers stood by until their ride arrived. (Closed)
09/02/17 -Medical Emergency- Valley Ambulance was called for a student in need of medical attention in Washington Hall. Valley Ambulance responded and treated the student, who then refused transport to the hospital. (Closed)
09/03/17 -Property Damage- While locking up the John Jay Center, an officer located a broken light fixture. Maintenance was notified of the broken light. (Closed)
09/03/17 –Departmental Information- A student reported losing their phone in the Washington parking lot. A report was issued and the student was advised they would be notified if the phone is turned in. (Closed)
09/04/17 -Medical Emergency- A student required medical attention in Marshall Hall. Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)
09/04/17 -Assist Another Agency- Moon Police Department requested a female officer for a search of a female suspect. An officer responded and assisted without incident. (Closed)
09/04/17 -Traffic Stop- An officer conducted a traffic stop off campus for a violation that occurred on campus. The driver received one citation at the conclusion of the stop. (Closed)

09/05/17 -Theft- This department was advised of a theft of money from a wallet at Yorktown Hall. This case is under investigation at this time. (Open)
09/05/17 -Trouble Alarm- Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found it was a smoke detector activated due to the residents cooking. (Closed)
09/06/17 –Welfare Check-This department was requested to perform a welfare check, due to comments that were made to an employee, by a parent via a phone call. This department called and had the local police department check on the caller, advising that they were not home at the time. (Closed)
09/06/17 –Fire Alarm-Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in the Facilities building. Officers and Moon Twp. Fire department responded and checked the building with negative results. The alarm system was reset and went back to normal. (closed)
09/06/17 –Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall. Officers found the cause to be burnt food. Maintenance was contacted to reset the alarm system. (Closed)
09/07/17 -Found Property-Crescent Twp. Police dropped off a wallet that belongs to a student of the University. Contact was made with the student advising their property was at this department. (Closed)
09/07/17 -Departmental information-An employee of an ongoing harassment situation notified this department. All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued. (Closed)
09/07/17 -Fire Alarm-Officers were called to Washington Hall for a fire alarm activation. The building was checked with negative results and the alarm system reset itself while officers were on scene. Maintenance was notified. (Closed)

09/08/17 -Welfare Check- Officers were requested to perform a welfare check on a student at Yorktown Hall. Officers met with the student and arranged for them to meet with a Counselor on campus. (Closed)

09/09/17 -Suspicious Person- Officers viewed a suspicious male in the Wheatley parking lot. Officers approached the man and found he was waiting for friends who were inside the building. (Closed)
09/09/17 -Accident-A maintenance employee reported being involved in a minor accident. All pertinent information was obtained was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)
09/09/17 –Student Conduct- Officers were called to Madison Hall for alcohol found in a room by Residence Life. All parties involved were advised they would be sent through Student Conduct.
09/10/17 -Disturbance-While patrolling Concord Hall, an officer they heard a lot of noise coming from a room. Officers checked the room and found two occupants who did not reside there. Both occupants were escorted from the room and the room was secured. Nothing was disturbed or out of the ordinary in the room.
09/10/17 -Fire Alarm- A resident in Concord Hall reported setting off the fire alarm from cooking. Officers responded Maintenance responded and reset the alarm system. (Closed)
09/10/17 -Traffic Stop- An officer conducted a traffic stop on Massey Way. At the conclusion of the stop, the driver received citations. (Closed)
09/10/17 -DUI- An officer conducted a traffic stop, which resulted in the driver (non-student) being under the influence and charged with DUI. (Closed)
09/10/17 -Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Monroe Hall. Upon arrival, it was determined that the cause was from the resident smoking a vape in the room. Maintenance was advised to reset the alarm system. (Closed)
09/10/17 -Warrant Arrest- Officers conducted a traffic stop on Campus Drive and found an active warrant on the driver. After further investigation it was determined that, the driver had a twin brother who the warrant was issued for. (Closed)
09/11/17 -Accident- This department was notified of a hit and run accident in the parking lot outside of Scaiffe Hall. Officers took all the necessary information and created a report. (Closed)
09/11/17 -Medical Emergency- Officers were called to Massey Hall for a medical emergency. Valley Ambulance was notified and transported the patient to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)
09/11/17 -Disturbance- This department was notified of a possible fight in Washington Hall. Upon officers arrival it was determined that it was a verbal argument. Both parties calmed down and no further assistance was required. (Closed)
09/11/17 -Welfare Check- Officers were requested to perform a welfare check on a student. Officers made contact with the student and found they everything was okay, and no further assistance was required. (Closed)

09/11/17 -Student Conduct- Officers were called to Madison Hall for a roommate taking belongings from the other roommate. All items were returned and this incident will be sent through Student Conduct. (Closed)
09/11/17 -Medical Emergency- This department received a call for a student in need of medical attention at Salem Hall. A friend was on scene and transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment of their injury. (Closed)
