Police Blotter 9/25/18-10/01/18

9/25/18- Fire Alarm- Moon dispatch reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall.  The cause for the alarm was steam from the shower. Maintenance reset the alarm system. (closed)

9/25/18- Smell of Marijuana- Residence Life reported an odor of marijuana in Washington Hall.  Officers could detect a faint odor, but were unable to determine the origin. (closed)

9/25/18- Theft- A student reported an item removed from their common area in Washington Hall.  The item was returned before any police interaction. (closed)

9/26/18-  Student Conduct Drugs- Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana at Yorktown Hall.  All parties involved were notified that they would be sent through Student Conduct for their actions. (closed)

9/26/18-  Accident- A student reported hitting another vehicle in the Upper Massey parking lot.  All pertinent information was obtained, and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (closed)

9/27/18- This department assisted Residence Life and the Counseling Center with a student. (closed)

9/27/18- Lost Property- A student reported leaving an item on the shuttle bus.  All pertinent information was obtained, and the student was advised they would be notified if the item were turned into this department. (closed)

9/27/18- Accident- This department was notified of an accident at the main entrance to campus.  All pertinent information was obtained, and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (closed)

9/27/18- Smell of Marijuana- Officers were called to Washington Hall for a smell of marijuana.  One student was detained, and the appropriate charges have been filed. (closed)

9/28/18- Lost Property- A student reported losing their wallet in or near the John Jay Center.  All necessary information was obtained, and the student was advised they would be notified if the wallet were turned into this department. (closed)

9/29/18- Maintenance Service Requested- This department was advised of a broken window inside the Wheatley Center.  Maintenance was called to clean up the broken glass from the area. (closed)

9/30/18- Student Conduct Alcohol- Officers were called to Yorktown Hall for an intoxicated male.  The male was evaluated by Valley Ambulance, found to be okay to be left with their roommate.  The student will be sent through Student Conduct. (closed)
