09/09/14 – Student Conduct – While conducting an investigation an officer noticed alcohol in the open in a student’s room. The alcohol was disposed of and the student was advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)
09/09/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord hall. Upon officers arrival it was determined that the cause for the alarm was burnt food. Maintenance was notified and the alarm was reset. (Closed)

09/09/14 – Vehicle Code Violation – An officer viewed a vehicle driving without inspection stickers. The driver was cited for the violation and released. (Closed)
09/10/14 – Suspicious Vehicle – Officers viewed a vehicle in the Washington lot with two occupants. Officers checked on the occupants who advised they were both talking and everything was fine. Officers cleared. (Closed)
09/10/14 – Medical Emergency – Health Services reported a stung by a bee and has an allergy to them. Valley Ambulance was contacted and assessed the student who refused transport to the hospital. (Closed)
09/10/14 – Vehicle Code Violation – An officer conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle with expired inspection, registration and no proof of insurance. The driver was issued citations for each violation and released. (Closed)
09/10/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington hall. Upon officers arrival the students reported a small fire on the stove that was extinguished with a fire extinguisher. Maintenance was notified and the alarm panel was reset. (Closed)
09/10/14 – Lost Property – A student reported their laptop missing from the Nicholson Student Center. The cameras were reviewed in the area and the laptop was turned into Parkhurst by another student. The laptop was retrieved and returned to the owner. (Closed)
09/11/14 – Vehicle Accident – A student reported damage done to their vehicle while parked in the Lower Massey lot. The driver of the other vehicle was located and both parties exchanged information. A report was written for insurance purposes. (Closed)
09/11/14 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student cutting off the top of their finger in Washington hall. Valley Ambulance was contacted and transported the student to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment. (Closed)
09/11/14 – Student Conduct – While patrolling Yorktown hall and officer heard people yelling in a room and did welfare check. Upon entering, the room there was alcohol present. The alcohol was disposed of and the student was advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)
09/12/14 – Medical Emergency – A Parkhurst employee fell in the Nicholson Center kitchen hitting their head. Valley Ambulance was notified and transported the employee to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)
09/12/14 – Vehicle Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation. The driver was issued a written warning and released. (Closed)
09/12/14 – Vehicle Stop – An officer viewed a vehicle driving without taillights and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was unaware that the lights were not turned on. The officer issued a verbal warning and the driver was released. (Closed)
09/12/14 – Departmental Information – While on patrol, an officer viewed two males taking dirt from the construction site by the Nicholson Center lot. The males stated they were given permission by the contractor, both males were advised that no notification was made to the University pertaining to this and they had to leave the area. Both complied without incident. (Closed)
09/12/14 – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord hall. Upon officers arrival it was determined that the alarm was a false activation. Maintenance was notified and reset the alarm. (Closed)
09/13/14 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Salem hall. Maintenance was advised of the alarm and reported someone will respond and evaluate the alarm. (Closed)
09/13/14 – Public Intoxication – Officers were informed of a male attending the dance in John Jay acting inappropriately towards a female. The male was detained and found to be intoxicated. The male was cited for public intoxication and transported to the Coraopolis Police Department for lodging. (Closed)
09/14/14 – Student Conduct – Officers viewed a female student needing assistance walking at the dance in John Jay Center. The female was intoxicated and under the age of twenty-one. The female was advised she would be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)
09/14/14 – Medical Emergency – A patron at the ISC was checked into the boards during a hockey game injuring their right shoulder. Valley Ambulance was contacted and transported the patient to Children’s Hospital for treatment. (Closed)
09/14/14 – Property Damage – Officers found the ping-pong table in the Jefferson Center damage during a patrol. The cameras were reviewed and the damage was not done maliciously. (Closed)
09/14/14 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student with a cut on their finger in Madison hall requesting an ambulance. Valley Ambulance was notified and treated the injury without incident. (Closed)
09/15/14 – Lost Property – A student reported a missing backpack containing a laptop. All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued. The student was advised they would be notified if the backpack were located. (Closed)
09/15/14 – Accident – A student reported damage done to their vehicle while parked in the Lower John Jay lot. All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)
09/15/14 – Vehicle Code Violation – An officer conducted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation. The driver was issued a citation for the violation and released. (Closed)
09/15/14 – Smell of Marijuana – Officers received a call for a smell of marijuana outside of Monroe hall. Officers responded and checked the area with negative results. (Closed)
