9/15/15 – Theft – A student reported items missing from their room in Lexington Hall. All pertinent information was obtained and an investigation is underway. (Open)
9/15/15 – Smell of Marijuana – This department was advised of a smell of marijuana on the tenth floor of Yorktown Hall. Officers checked the area and met with negative results. (Closed)
9/15/15 – Smell of Marijuana – Residence Life reported an odor of marijuana on the third floor of Yorktown Hall. Officers were able to find the room in question and a citation was issued, along with a referral to Judicial Affairs. (Closed)
9/15/15 – Recovered Property – A piece of jewelry was found in Wheatley Center and turned into this department. The jewelry was entered into lost and found until the owner is identified. (Closed)
9/16/15 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Hamilton Hall. Maintenance was notified and reset the alarm system. (Closed)
9/16/15 – Guardian reported a phone line trouble signal in Hamilton Hall. Maintenance was notified and reset the alarm system. (Closed)
9/16/15 – Assist Another Agency – Coraopolis PD requested a female officer to assist with searching a female prisoner. An officer responded and assisted without incident. (Closed)
9/16/15 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a smoke detector activated in Concord Hall. The cause for the alarm was from the residents cooking. Maintenance was advised to reset the alarm system. (Closed)
9/17/15 – Welfare Check – A parent requested an officer check on the welfare of their child who they have been unable to reach. Officers made contact and advised them to contact their parents. (Closed)
9/17/15 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop on Campus Drive for a stop sign violation. The driver was issued a citation and was released. (Closed)
9/17/15 – Suspicious Incident – This department was advised of possible damage to the doors of the Student Life office. An officer checked on the doors and found that they just latched improperly. The officer secured the doors. (Closed)
9/17/15 – Underage Drinking – Officers were called to Monroe Hall for a possible party. The call resulted in four citations for underage drinking and one citation for disorderly conduct, as well as referral to Judicial Affairs. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Accident – Complainant came to the station and reported damage done to their vehicle while parked in the Student Center Lot. A note was left behind with the other vehicles information. A report was issued for insurance purposes, and pictures were taken of the damage. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Student Conduct – Officers were called to Washington Hall for a loud party. All parties involved were advised that they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for their actions. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Underage Drinking – While on patrol, an officer viewed a female urinating in the CFL-3 parking lot. The female was identified as a non-student and was cited for underage drinking, and public drunkenness. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Disturbance – Officers were called to Lexington Hall for a reported party. Officers responded and found that the occupants had left prior to their arrival. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Student Conduct – Officers were called to Lexington Hall for a loud party. All parties involved were advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for their actions. (Closed)
9/19/15 – While on patrol, officers viewed four people on the softball field. All parties involved were found to be under the influence of alcohol and were advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for their actions. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Public Drunkenness – Officers found and intoxicated male on Colonial Way by the softball field. The male a non-student was cited for underage drinking, public drunkenness and taken to Coraopolis PD for lodging until sober. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Public Drunkenness – Officers were called to Yorktown Hall for an intoxicated male. The male was transported to Sewickley Valley Hospital for his level of intoxication and cited for underage drinking and public drunkenness. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Student Conduct – Officers responded to Gallatin Hall after viewing someone throw an object out of a window. The occupants of the room were drinking and all advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for their actions. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Disturbance – Complainant reported a loud party in Lexington Hall. Officers responded and assisted Residence Life with the incident. All parties involved were advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for their actions. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Student Conduct – Officers were called to Washington Hall for a noise complaint. Officers and Residence Life spoke to the occupants of the room, and advised that Residence Life will be handling this incident. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Criminal Trespass – Officers were advised of a male in Lexington Hall that is on the PNG list. The male was advised that he would have to leave campus and not return until he is permitted to return. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Public Drunkenness – An officer encountered a male that was previously advised to stay in his apartment for the remainder of the evening. The male was cited for public drunkenness and released. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop on Colonial Way for a vehicle with expired registration. The driver was issued three citations and released. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Student Conduct – This department assisted Residence Life in locating an intoxicated male in Gallatin Hall. The male was found and will be sent through Judicial Affairs for his actions. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Public Drunkenness – An intoxicated male was taken from the Homecoming Dance at Sewall Center. The male’s condition worsened and was taken to Sewickley Hospital due to his level of intoxication. Two citations were issued along with a trespass warning since the male was a non-student. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Public Drunkenness – A student came to the Police Station and was visibly intoxicated. The student was cited for underage drinking, public drunkenness and released to a parent. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Departmental Information – A parent who is not from the area requested information on the closest hospital for their daughter who needed medical attention. Officers gave directions for Sewickley Hospital to the parent. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Departmental Information – Moon PD reported a vehicle with heavy front-end damage parked at Braddock Hall. A report was issued and pictures were taken of the damaged vehicle. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Public Drunkenness – An officer viewed a male passed out on the hillside near Washington Way. The male was cited for Public Drunkenness and released to a sober friend. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Public Drunkenness – This department was advised of an intoxicated male drinking in Romo’s Café. The male was cited for public drunkenness by this department and was released to a sober friend. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Lost Property – A student reported losing their wallet. All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued. The student was advised if the wallet is turned into this department, they would be notified. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Recovered Property – A piece of jewelry was turned into officers during the Homecoming Dance. The item was placed into lost and found until the owner comes to retrieve it. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Recovered Property – A wallet was found at Yorktown Hall. The owner was contacted and picked up their wallet. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Underage Drinking – Residence Life reported a suspicious person in Yorktown Hall. Officers found a non-student inside the room who was given access by the resident student. The male a non-student was issued a trespass warning along with underage and disorderly conduct citations. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Found Property – An officer found a piece of jewelry on Massey Way. The jewelry was logged into lost and found until the owner comes to claim it. (Closed)
9/18/15 – Underage Drinking – An intoxicated female was taken from the Homecoming Dance and cited for underage drinking. The female was released to a sober friend for the night. (Closed)
9/19/15 – Traffic Stop – An officer stopped a vehicle for driving into oncoming traffic. The driver of the vehicle was under the influence of alcohol. The vehicle was parked and a friend was contacted to take the driver home. (Closed)
9/20/15 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm in the Revere Center. The building was checked with negative results and the alarm system reset itself. Maintenance was notified of the alarm activation. (Closed)
9/20/15 – Departmental Information – A student called and advised the shuttle bus for Robinson Town Center passed and did not stop. Officers contacted the shuttle company who sent the bus back to pick up the student. (Closed)
9/21/15 – Suspicious Vehicle – Maintenance advised of a suspicious vehicle in the Facilities parking lot. The vehicle belonged to an employee who was waiting to have it towed. (Closed)
9/21/15 – Panic Alarm – This department was advised of a panic alarm activated in the Business School. Officers responded and found an employee activated the alarm accidentally. (Closed)
9/21/15 – Recovered Property – A student brought in items that were left behind in their dorm room that did not belong to them. The items were taken and entered into lost and found. (Closed)
9/21/15 – Property Damage – Residence Life requested assistance in finding how a bulletin board was damaged in Washington Hall. Officers were able to review the cameras and locate a suspect. The information was given to Residence Life to handle the incident. (Closed)
