4/16 – Failure to Stop – An officer initiated a traffic stop for a driver failing to stop at a stop sign. The driver was issued a written warning for the violation. (Closed)
4/16 – Theft – This department was advised of a Nintendo DS taken from a vehicle while parked in the CFL parking lots. All pertinent information was obtained from the victim and a report was issued. (Closed)
4/16 – Accident – A tractor-trailer backed into a parked vehicle outside of the Wheatley Center. Pictures were taken of the damage to the vehicle and the owner was notified. Both parties’ information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)
4/17 – Property Damage – This department was advised of a door damaged by the locker rooms at the Island Sports Center. Pictures were taken of the damage and a report was written. The cameras will be reviewed in that area in an attempt to identify what caused the damage. (Open)
4/17 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington Hall. Upon officers’ arrival, the room was checked with negative results for smoke or fire. Officers reset the alarm and cleared. (Closed)
4/17 – Accident – A student reported damage to their vehicle while parked in the Colonial Way parking lot. Pictures were taken of the damage and the cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to locate the other party involved. (Open)
4/17 – Missing Property – A student reported an iPad missing from a classroom in the Business School. This incident is under investigation at this time. (Open)
4/17 – Suspicious Person – A resident in Adams Hall reported a suspicious male wandering the hallway on the third floor. Officers checked the entire building with negative results. (Closed)
4/18 – Welfare Check – A parent called and advised he/she have been unable to make contact with his/her daughter who was on campus. Officers made several phone calls and were able to track the daughter down and advise her to call home. (Closed)
4/19 – Medical Emergency – Officers were called to Marshall Hall in reference to an unresponsive female. The female was highly intoxicated and was transported to Sewickley Valley Hospital by Valley Ambulance. A citation was issued for underage drinking. (Closed)
4/21 – Medical Emergency – Officers were called to Washington Hall in reference to an unresponsive female. The female was highly intoxicated and was transported to Sewickley Valley Hospital by Valley Ambulance. A citation was issued for underage drinking. (Closed)
4/21 – Fire – This department was advised of a fire on the first floor of Gallatin Hall. Upon officers’ arrival, it was determined that food was burnt inside a microwave and created a moderate amount of smoke. The Fire Department was called to ventilate the building. (Closed)
