10/31 – Departmental Information – Security at Yorktown Hall reported hearing a loud explosion outside of the building. Officers and maintenance checked the exterior and interior of the building with negative results. (Closed)
11/01 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian advised of a trouble alarm in Concord Hall. Officers checked the building with negative results. (Closed)
11/01 – Accident – This department was advised of an accident in the Gazebo Lot. Officers obtained both parties information and a report was written for insurance purposes. (Closed)
11/02 – Student Conduct – Officers were advised by Yorktown security of an argument on the fourth floor. Officers arrived and spoke with both students who advised it was just a verbal argument between roommates. (Closed)
11/02 – Accident – This department was advised of damage done to a vehicle while parked at Yorktown Hall. The vehicle owner’s information was taken and a report was written for insurance purposes. (Closed)
11/02 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Ross Hall. Officers located the room where the smell was coming from. Both parties involved were advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)
11/02 – Underage Drinking – This department was advised of underage drinking in Washington Hall. All parties under the age of 21 were issued citations. (Closed)
11/03 – Harassment – This department was advised of a harassment situation between an employee of Yorktown Hall and a resident student. This case is under investigation at this time. (Open)
11/03 – Theft – A student reported their laptop and cell phone taken from the fourth floor of the Nicholson Center. An investigation is under way and the cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to locate any suspect(s). (Open)
11/03 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington Hall. Upon officers’ arrival, it was determined that the cause for the alarm was the residents’ cooking. Officers cleared and reset the alarm panel. (Closed)
11/04 – Smell of Marijuana – Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Marshall Hall. Officers along with Residence Life checked the building with negative results. (Closed)
11/05 – Suspicious Incident – IKON reported receiving two suspicious letters delivered to the facility. A check was done on the letters and came back negative for anything suspicious. (Closed)
11/05 – Accident – A student reported damage to their vehicle while parked in the CFL parking lot. Pictures of the damage were taken and a report was written for insurance purposes. (Closed)
11/05 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported an alarm activated at the Facilities Service Center. Officers checked the building and determined an employee soldering set off the alarm. (Closed)
11/05 – Departmental Information – This department was advised of a possible missing student. Officers were able to make contact with the student who advised they were out of town. No further action required from this department. (Closed)
11/05 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Hamilton Hall. Upon officers’ arrival, it was determined that burnt popcorn was the cause for the alarm going off. The alarm panel was reset and officer cleared. (Closed)
11/05 – Property Damage – Security at Yorktown reported a lock broken to a storage room. Officers checked the room and were unable to determine if anything was missing. Cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to locate and suspect(s). (Open)
