MOON TOWNSHIP – The School of Engineering, Mathematics and Science at Robert Morris University has been ranked among the top 25 Best Master’s in Engineering Management for 2019 by both OnlineMasters.com and TheBestSchools.org.

The top five schools in the OnlineMasters.com report include:

  1. Stanford University
  2. Purdue University
  3. Washington State University
  4. Kansas State University
  5. Florida International University

OnlineMasters.com listed the Robert Morris engineering program at No. 20 overall. Described as “best for technology enterprise careers,” the program was recognized for its effectiveness in preparing students for a life after college. The listing says, “this online program emphasizes quality and ethics while also covering important topics such as project management and the development of engineering management systems, giving graduates a well-rounded skill set to use in the field.”

The top five schools in TheBestSchools.org report include:

  1. Stevens Institute of Technology
  2. Rowan University
  3. Johns Hopkins University
  4. Missouri University of Science and Technology
  5. University of Arizona

TheBestSchools.org ranked Robert Morris at No. 10 for its flexibility and design which allows students to customize their education. “The program includes three core courses in engineering management and seven courses in electives — two from the engineering department and five from any discipline,” TheBestSchools.com writes.

Students are also assigned to an academic advisor, a student services representative, a wellness coach, and a career coach, all focused on helping the student succeed in the engineering program.
