Police Blotter 1/29/19-2/04/19

1/29/19- Accident with unattended vehicle- Staff reported that they backed the Parkhurst van into a vehicle at Massey Hall. Information and pictures were taken of both vehicles for insurance purposes (closed).

1/29/19- Accident with unattended vehicle- A female reported that she struck a parked vehicle in the Lower John Jay lot. Information and pictures were taken of both vehicles for insurance purposes (closed).

1/29/19- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm in Concord Hall. Officers arrived and verified that the alarm set off accidentally by maintenance. The fire Dept. canceled and the alarm panel reset (closed).

1/30/19- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm in Yorktown Hall. Moon Fire Dept and officers arrived and determined it was set off accidentally in a Laundry room. The fire panel was reset (closed).

1/30/19- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall. Officers arrived and found the cause to be cooking.  The room was ventilated and the Fire Dept canceled. The alarm panel reset (closed).

1/30/19- Disturbance loud music or people- Residence Life reported a possible party going on in Hancock Hall. Officers arrived and found no sign of any illegal activity going on. The room had a beer pong table, in which they were advised to take down, as it violates housing policy (closed).

1/31/19- Public drunkenness/Medical emergency- Students reported an unresponsive male lying on the ground near the gazebo.  Officers arrived to find the individual highly intoxicated outdoors in extremely cold conditions. Valley ambulance transported the patient to the hospital. Two citations issued (closed).

1/31/19- Defiant Trespass- While monitoring the video cameras, Officers witnessed a non-student, who was banned from campus, inside the Business School. Officers responded and placed the individual under arrest. Criminal charges were filed and the arrestee was transported to Allegheny County Jail (closed).

2/01/19- Accident with unattended vehicle- Maintenance reported that they struck a parked vehicle with the plow truck in the Colonial way lot. Pictures of both vehicles and information taken for insurance purposes (closed).

2/01/19- Suspicious Incident- A resident student reported that a tire on her vehicle has been losing air pressure with no apparent cause. Officers to make extra patrols of the area (closed).

2/03/19- Vehicle Fire- Moon Dispatch reported a fire in the Washington Lot. Officers arrived on scene to find a vehicle engulfed in flames. Moon Fire Dept extinguished the fire. The vehicle was towed by the owner. Pictures were taken for insurance purposes (closed).

2/04/19- Accident with unattended vehicle- A student reported damage to her vehicle while parked in the Upper Massey lot today. Pictures and information taken for insurance purposes (closed).

2/04/19- Fire Alarm- Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall. Officers arrived and found the cause to be burnt food.  The room was being ventilated, the Fire Dept canceled, and the alarm panel reset (closed).

2/04/19- Departmental Information- Residence Life reported possible drug activity in Lexington Hall. Officers arrived to find nothing Illegal. Items, in violation of the housing contract, were removed by the owner (closed).
