On the day new students start their first day of classes, Robert Morris University announced the University’s Class of 2027 is the largest in recent memory. The class is a 25% increase from last fall.
The school did not announce the number of students.
“We are thrilled to welcome the class of 2027 and are energized by their excitement,” said University President Dr. Michelle Patrick. “I want students and families to know that this is only the beginning and that everything we do here will be filtered through one lens: what is best for our students. That’s the RMU Way.”
In addition, the school announced there will be new amenities and enhancements for students.
Enhancements include a new centrally located office called ‘Solution Central’ that “combines critical student services, including financial aid, student financial services, scheduling, the Center for Student Success, and tutoring.”
RMU has also created a Student Concierge Service located in the Nicholson Center. It will help visitors and fellow students with any answers, from directions to dining hall hours, restaurant recommendations, and more.
Students will also discover a massive new multipurpose area on the Nicholson Center’s first floor called ‘The Basement.’ The new lounge will include cozy furniture, TVs, pool and ping pong tables, a stage, amenities for commuter students, a conference room, and more.
These new transformative projects at the Nicholson Center show its dedication to its students:
“The Nicholson Center has been reimagined as a true student center bridging academic and residential experience.”
