For the third consecutive year, Pittsburgh Penguins star Evgeni Malkin and Robert Morris ACHA DI Hockey will come together for its annual charity game on Friday, Jan. 10 at 8 p.m. against Buffalo.
It was announced on the school’s and team’s Instagram account Wednesday afternoon.
All proceeds will go towards the Ronald McDonald Houses of Pittsburgh and Morgantown.
Malkin, along with his Penguin teammates Erik Karlsson, Kris Letang, Drew O’Connor, and Ronald McDonald House President Eleanor Reigal will part in a ceremonial puck drop before the game.
Penguins arena singer Jeff Jimerson will also sing the national anthem pregame.
Malkin and Letang attended last year’s event with RMH president Reigal.
“I have found in my tenure at working at the RMH, how giving the sports teams are in the city of Pittsburgh, and the Penguins are no exception to that. They have traditionally given back.” Reigal said at last year’s event. “I think the players, themself, realize how important our mission is, and how fortunate they are in their lives.”
