Anthony Ricco, one of six defense attorneys for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, has filed a motion to withdraw from the case. There was no explanation given for the withdrawal.
In a Manhattan Federal Court affidavit, Ricco wrote, “Under no circumstances can I continue to effectively serve as counsel for Sean Combs. It is respectfully but regrettably requested that the court grant the relief requested.”
Although Ricco motioned to be released from the case, a judge will have to find sufficient reason to grant the request.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has found himself facing life in prison if convicted of the charges against him. He is being accused of kidnapping, drugging, and coercing women into sexual activities. There are also other charges such as racketeering, human trafficking, and rape.
There have been no further statements made by Anthony Ricco or the remaining legal counsel.
