This Tuesday, a new fast-food restaurant, set to fill all your chicken finger needs, will open in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh hosts many fast-food restaurant chains such as McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Popeye’s, and Chipotle. However, one restaurant chain is not included- Raising Cane’s.
Pittsburgh has been without Raising Cane’s since the chain’s establishment in 1996 in Louisiana. If you craved Cane’s juicy chicken, you had to travel to the nearest location in Boardman, Ohio, which opened in the spring of 2019.
The Pittsburgh location is set to open on Fifth Avenue in Oakland. This location will serve as a hotspot for hungry University of Pittsburgh students.
Tuesday morning, as a part of the grand opening, a drawing will be held for a chance to be one of 20 people to win free Cane’s for a year! Sign-ups will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., while winners will be announced at 9 a.m.
In addition to the drawing, the first 100 people to order a combo meal via dine-in will receive a custom T-shirt.
However, Pittsburgh won’t be home to just one location but two Raising Cane’s! The restaurant is set to open a second location on Lincoln Highway in North Versailles later this month.
With Raising Cane’s being one of the fastest-growing restaurant chains, the greater Pittsburgh area should expect to see more locations popping up in the coming months. New and existing establishments can be monitored here.
