Women and Non-Binary Forum empowers all gender identities
January 21, 2019
PITTSBURGH – On April 6, Bike Pittsburgh will host the Women and Non-Binary Forum to empower people and give them the opportunity to have a voice in the community.
Women and non-binary individuals across the region will come together for the sixth annual Women and Non-Binary Forum.
The forum will be going through various changes for 2019 in order to accommodate everyone, including childcare and ASL interpretation.
“This year’s forum has a special focus on empowerment, giving women and non-binary people the tools they can use to exercise their voice and get involved in effective organizing,” said Julie Mallis, organizer of the program.
Bike Pittsburgh’s program emphasizes representation for all gender identities, bringing the community together over biking.
“This was the first time I attended this event and really enjoyed it! It was a great use of a Saturday and I learned so much.” – Testimonial from last year’s event.
