The last season the Colonials played was in the 2020-21 season, and they went 15-9 for the season in which they secured a playoff berth but ended up losing in a series to Niagara.
Head coach Derek Schooley and his staff brought back six returners from last year and the rest of the 29-man roster consists of freshmen and grad students, so it will be interesting to see how the Colonials play in their first season back on the ice.
The Colonials open the season at home on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Clearview Arena. They will be taking on the Bowling Green Falcons in a two-game series.
