RMU begins the season with its five out-of-conference games, including two first-time opponents in Air Force and Virginia Lynchburg.

The first season of the Big South-Ohio Valley Conference merger features six conference battles, with three against teams from the Big South and three from the Ohio Valley.

The Colonials’ conference schedule opens against reigning Big South champion Gardner-Webb and will come to a close against new conference opponent Eastern Illinois.

The 2023 football season is going to be interesting to watch for the Colonials as they face a lot of relatively unfamiliar opponents.
