Former Robert Morris guard Enoch Cheeks has transferred to Dayton. He will have two years left of eligibility.

Cheeks announced his transfer on Mar. 17

The Providence, R.I. native was key member of the team in his three seasons in a Colonial uniform, increasing his scoring average each year.

During the 2022-23 season, Cheeks scored a career high of 24 points against Purdue Fort Wayne on Dec. 29 and made a season-high eight made free throws against Green Bay on Feb. 16 and a season high of 10 rebounds against Mt. Saint Mary’s on Dec. 18.

Cheeks was expected to be a cornerstone for the Colonials this season with an increased role.

Dayton finished the season 21-12 this past year and with the addition of Cheeks, this bolsters the Flyers roster heading into 2023-24.

For the Colonials, with both leading point-scorers Kahliel Spear and Cheeks leaving, the Colonials will look elsewhere for scoring.
