As the calendar turns to July, several former student-athletes from Robert Morris have signed professional contracts. That trend continued Monday as former Colonial forward Nick Lalonde signed with the Neuilly-sur-Marne Bison.

Neuilly-sur-Marne plays in the second tier of the FFHG Division 1, a semi-professional league in France. Last season the Bison finished in fifth place with 46 points.

Lalonde spent three seasons at Robert Morris, where he compiled 38 points on 15 goals and 23 assists.

His best season in the red, white and blue came in his freshman campaign in 2018-19, where he tallied seven goals and nine assists.

After both RMU hockey programs were cut after the 2020-21 season, Lalonde forewent his final year of eligibility and, in April, was named to Team Carbonneau of the newly formed 3ICE league before signing a contract with Neuilly-Sur-Marne.
