Kyler Head remains in Atlantic Hockey, joins Mercyhurst
August 25, 2021
ERIE, Pa.– With the Robert Morris men’s hockey roster from the 2020-21 season dwindling one by one, Kyler Head becomes the latest name to exit the program, announcing his decision on Twitter Tuesday evening.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me through everything along with @RMUMHockey for an amazing freshman year. But I’m blessed to say that I will be continuing my hockey and academic career @HurstMensHockey #golakers

After playing in 23 games as a freshman with the Colonials, Head will now join a fellow Atlantic Hockey member with the Mercyhurst Lakers.
The 6-foot-4 forward will showcase his physical prowess on the ice for the Lakers as well as his wicked hard shot and nose for the net. This contributed to two goals during his rookie campaign last season.
Head will presume a similar role as a reliable depth player for the Lakers as he did for the Colonials throughout the course of this past season.
Mercyhurst finished last season with an 8-12-1 record and will look to improve on that mark with the addition of Head.
